Fun in the summer at Devils Backbone Park

These were taken on a very hot day. The geese were very shy and there were lots of children around. I'm surprised I managed to get these shots in before they left. One of the kids threw stones at them. Yes the mother did say something when she finally saw what was going on. Good thing because I would have been in trouble if I said something to them....

    Devils Backbone is where my daughter put her turtle she found. She did not tell any of the kids at her elementary school. For fear they would go down there and fine the turtle or at least say they did. Her dad is Ed so she had named the turtle "Sir Edward" lol
    I love the memories I have ( :
